Beyond the Basics

EVIDENCE-BASED AND HOLISTIC TRAINING IN SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION

This is a new course designed for advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, physicians and nurses seeking to seeking to level up their skills in multimodal pain management and challenging conversations.

1 1/2 day Intensive for Advanced Practice Providers Only

  • Dates:  October 10  1:00-4:00 pm CT and October 11  8:30-3:30 pm CT
  • Location:  Choose to join by live-stream or attend in-person at the University of Chicago Medical Center.   In-person spaces are limited and will fill on a rolling basis.
  • Topics:  Communication Skills, Ethical Issues, Social Work Case Management Perspectives on Disposition Planning and Goal-Concordant Care, Spiritual Assessments, Pathways into and Opportunities for Professional Development for APPs
