Professional Development in Communication and Supportive Care
This is a 6-month virtual, primary palliative care training program for interdisciplinary health care professionals who care for patients with serious, advanced illnesses. The comprehensive curriculum is presented at 3 full-day conferences, including communication skills workshop with simulated patients, at hour-long mentored learning community sessions, weekly webinars, and half-day seminars for social workers and chaplains. The September conference will be held in person at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL and offered virtually. Sessions are recorded for asynchronous learning.
