Associate Professor of Medicine, and Associate Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Optimization and Revenue Integrity at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. He is a practicing and board certified hospitalist and palliative care physician. One of his responsibilities includes ensuring that palliative care is being utilized effectively in the medical center. He is passionate on the need for developing strong primary palliative care skills across all disciplines. Dr. Ansari is one of our leading conference speakers on topics such as communication and cultural humility, and has mentored small groups and individuals in our longitudinal programs. He guides our training community to question assumptions, look inward, and establish rapport where conflict has surfaced. His education interests are: communication, opioid management, cultural humility, and the role of palliative care in improving health care delivery.
